Team RED is deserved of the accolade, Talent Management Team of the Year due to its broad range of ongoing actions to ensure a more equitable workplace during the qualifying period - supporting employee growth in areas such as empathy, awareness, well-being and talent inclusivity.

As a result, OMD hired a much more diverse agency workforce in 2021, raising multi-cultural representation by 370% among those happy to declare their ethnicity. Senior leadership roles held by women increased to 43%, while over the course of the year, 60% of all promotions were achieved by women. We have further doubled the number of Mental Health First Aiders and created an agency culture that is open, supportive and mindful of everyone’s unique abilities, opinions and backgrounds. Our magnificent seven new initiatives introduced in 2021 include a DI&B resource hub; a fairer structured recruitment and assessment process; wider promotion of roles to encourage people with disabilities to apply for both internal and external vacancies; OMD Voices awareness talks, a mentoring scheme, which saw 25 candidates being paired with senior level executives over a 12-month period; a new Manager Programme to up-skill and equip managers with stronger people skills; plus an updated agency-wider Code of Conduct. Better togetherness leads to better decisions, which result in better connections and an ‘All in’ culture to ensure our people thrive in a more equitable workplace that represents diversity of culture and community.
