By many measures, 2021 is the most successful year in R/GA’s history. We created award-winning work during chaos, reshaped how we work and show up in the world in ways leading the industry forward, and repeatedly proved to prospects that R/GA was the only partner capable of navigating continual disruption to take them into the future.

This was our best ever year for growth, with nearly $100 million in global new business revenue, around $70 million in the U.S. alone, and won 76% of pitches, totaling 86 wins. In 2021, with brands and agencies struggling to understand the metaverse, we launched our Direct to Avatar (D2A) capability. Led by R/GA Ventures, we also launched the R/GA Coalition Venture Studio which connects emerging Black-owned and Black-led tech companies with R/GA’s clients like Verizon and Amazon, and their capabilities. For GSK Next, the innovation arm of GSK Consumer Healthcare, we launched a new mentorship and business development program called the Re/Wire Health Studio. And we reached new creative heights in 2021, with our best-ever awards performance overall across top shows, netting ten Cannes Lions wins, including a Grand Prix for Reddit’s “Superb Owl." We also partnered with the White House to create an online platform helping American citizens welcome Afghan refugees. And we continued to face harsh truths and difficult conversations by putting in place processes and policies that hold us all accountable for genuine movement to racial equity. This led us to evolve our strategy around equity at R/GA: Make/Change.
