In 2023, OMD EMEA strengthened its position as the #1 media agency network in Europe by leading where it matters most – winning 99 new clients (including Under Armour, Tchibo, and Vans), and retaining and growing 31 pieces of existing business across the region (including Beiersdorf and Lidl). In RECMA's words, OMD was “the best-performing agency in EMEA" in a year in which we continually created what’s next – across every part of our agency. Powering this success was OMD’s proprietary planning tools, Omni (OmniCom’s marketing orchestration platform) and OMD Design, which helped 7,600 OMDers in Europe produce best-in-class media campaigns for regional clients, including McDonald’s, PepsiCo and Burberry. In fact, across the year, OMD’s European teams were awarded 95 accolades at global award shows, won six Agency of the Year awards, and OMD was named Network of the Year at Eurobest. To maintain this momentum, OMD also invested heavily in its people, developing new training programmes to help them succeed. It worked to champion diversity and inclusion across the region, hiring or promoting 11 new female leaders, and creating a disability and neurodiversity committee. The result was over 71% of OMDers saying they “love working here and the culture."
